Salman Khan a star of the millennium, he has impressed all the age groups by his marvellous performance in his movies and unique personality and physic Salman is a youth icon, he has end number of fan following. He always portrays different characters in his movies passionately and shares a good chemistry with his co-stars. He is marked as an versatile actor, as his versatility is proven in many films like e.g. A comedian in Andaaz Apna Apna, a romantic lover in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, in Dabangg he played a role of an inspector. To precise about Salman Khan, he is a complete actor.

 Salman has starred in more than 80 Hindi movies. He gave his first debut with a minor role in the film Biwi Ho to Aisi in the year 1988 and later on achieved the stardom very instantly with his first commercial success in Maine Pyar Kiya which was a blockbuster movie; he was awarded with the ""Film fare Award for Best Male Debut"".

 Later on he went onto stardom by giving some of the most successful Hindi films, such as Judwaa, Karan Arjun, Saajan, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, Pyar Kiya to Darna Kya etc. which has appeared in the highest grossing eight years of his career which remains in the list of unbroken record.

 He achieved Film fare Award for Best Supporting Role in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai in the year 1988 for his extended appearance, and then after has starred in commercial and critical successes which includes the numerous hits such as Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Mujhse Shaadi karogi, Wanted, Dabangg, Ready etc. these movies has become the second highest grossing Bollywood film which also includes the success of Bodyguard, Ek Tha Tiger and Dabangg 2, his recent release. Salman Khan Movies are always a biggest hit. He is one of the most successful actors in Hindi cinema he has himself achieved this status with his potentials and hard work.

 Salman has appeared in the Hollywood movie, Marigold: An Adventure in India that represented the love story of an Indian Male with an America female. He has also hosted o reality show named 10 ka Dum and BIGG BOSS season 6. He is brand Ambassador for  which is travel website. He has also endorsed Suzuki motorcycles, History channel and Mountain Dew.

 Salman is the son of Screenwriter Salim Khan and Salma the first wife of his father, his grandfather was Muslim he was initially from Afghanistan who has settled himself in Indore, his mother is Hindu Maratha. Khan's family celebrates festivals of both the religion such as Islamic and Hindu. They celebrate the Hindu festivals such as Ganesh Chaturthi and Maha Shivratri. In the year 2010 he was stated as ""half Hindu and half Muslim"". Helen is Salman's stepmother a well-known dancer and actress who have co-starred with him in few films.

 Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan are his younger brothers and he has two younger sisters named Arpita and Alvira. Salman and his brothers have completed their schooling through St. Stanislaus High School in Bandra. His sister Alvira is married to the Director/ Actor Atul Agnihotri. Salman is considered to be most eligible bachelor with number of relationship. Recently Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are paired, they are truly a cute couple, I just love them as a pair.
